Let’s start at the top and work our way down. The central gemstone is a dreamy oval cut opal, which offers a shimmering ‘play of colour’ effect when you shine it in the light, surrounding this we have a total of ten deep red garnet stones which contrast beautifully against the milky white opal.
The gem cluster is held on a very dramatic stage of gold, which stretches 8mm from the finger to the bottom of the garnets, this section is jam packed with intricate detail which I’ve tried to pick up in the images. I really like the cut out detail here.
The metal is solid 9 carat gold, and (thankfully) the band is smooth and plain in style, I think there is enough going on already.
