I’m quite taken with this antique 9 carat gold crossover ring, she has a real twinkle in her eye.
The design centres around three bright and beautiful gems; a central European old cut diamond (approx. 0.19 carats) and two popping blue sapphires on either side (approx. 0.20 carat total). Unlike a classic modern brilliant cut stone, you can see quite clearly the imperfect symmetry on the table of this diamond, which I simply adore.
The back of the band is smooth and comfortable, this curves round and gathers momentum with elaborate scroll detailing, before finishing with a grooved cross over swirl that frames the trilogy beautifully. The metal tests as solid 15 carat gold throughout.

Condition
Very good condition. The gems are still absolutely flawless! There is a little bit of patina to the band and evidence of a resize, but this is not noticeable when worn.
