I’ve recently been on a re-stocking mission for sapphires, and when I stumbled upon this sensational antique cluster ring I immediately bought her without a second thought. 

At her centre is an outrageous rose cut diamond, weighing approx. 0.77ct and held securely in a closed back setting. Her unique inclusions give a smoky hue to the stone which has become increasingly more desirable in recent years. 

Surrounding this there are 8 mixed cut sapphires, all cut with their own unique character. When held up to the light, they glisten a rich cobalt blue colour. The gemstone cluster as a whole is utterly beautiful, and will turn heads - you have been warned! 

The band and setting is crafted from solid 14ct gold, which has turned buttery soft over the years and looks beautiful against the rich blue stones.

“595” tested as 14 carat gold.

Condition

Very good condition. This antique ring still looks absolutely gorgeous! If examined closely with magnification, there is a minor chip to the edge of the diamond and some wear to the facet edges of the sapphires, which is common to see in old rings. The gold has turned a beautiful darker shade over the years.
