My eagle eye spotted this outrageous solid gold crucifix necklace on a recent buying trip, and I just had to have it.
She’s hallmarked for 1988, with both the cross and chain crafted from solid 9 carat gold which is still wonderfully bright and shiny. This is a real statement piece, the cross pendant is quite fine so sits flat against the chest but is a really good size, measuring almost 4cm in length, including the fastening at the top. Even from afar, you can spot the haunting and highly detailed figure of Christ on top of the pendant.
Length wise, the chain is relatively short, so she sits at perfect height just above the heart.

Very good condition. A few very minor surface level scratches to the pendant, other than that she still looks knockout.
