I’m having to really resist slipping this one into my personal collection, I absolutely love everything about her.

Likely from the 1920s, this antique piece is effortlessly cool. With an octagonal jet black onyx stone, which is opaque and peppered with wear, adding to her unique character.

Onyx is a type of quartz, known for its intense colour and sheen. It is dark and mysterious and has always been one of my favourite gemstones, so much so that I sourced one for my husband’s wedding ring.

The metal on this piece is entirely 9ct gold, which has turned a delicious darker shade over the years. I really love the strong linear design on the band, which works so well with the sharp corners of the bezel setting.

Condition

Good condition. There are a few minor scratches to surface of the onyx stone, and the gold has softened in colour over the years, all of which add to her antique charm.
