Made in the late 1960s, this vintage five stone sapphire and diamond ring is truly fit for a queen.

Like sparkling stars against a midnight sky, the alternating sapphires and diamonds look utterly dazzling together. I particularly adore the deep, midnight-blue tone of the sapphires, which contrast beautifully against the bright sparkle of the diamonds. Of all the gemstone pairings, surely this has to be one of the most timeless?

The diamonds are cleverly illusion set within a starburst setting, creating the impression of larger stones - which is never a bad thing in my books!

Crafted in 18ct gold, the band has an impressive, regal setting, adorned with intricate scroll detailing. It remains wonderfully bright and beautifully finished, adding to the grandeur of this truly charming vintage ring.

Condition

Very good condition. Overall this ring still looks great, the gold still gleams beautifully and the diamonds are well matched and free from nibbles. On close inspection there is a little bit of wear to the surface of the sapphires and evidence of a resize.
