I’m always delighted to get my hands on an emerald, they are geographically speaking rare and I find them harder to come by when buying. 

This is a stunning vintage example, with a large oval cut light green stone, which is peppered with beautiful inclusions and held up high in a prong setting. The colour is luminous and mesmerising. There are 6 tiny diamonds which stud either side, added a magical twinkle with every movement. 

The band is chunky and robust, crafted from 9ct gold which is still in great condition and looks fabulous against the green gem.

Condition

Very good condition. This ring still looks gorgeous. If examined under magnification, there is a tiny nibble in the girdle of the emerald, but this is not at all noticeable when worn. I am actually impressed with how little wear there is on this stone, as emeralds are known for being quite brittle.
