This is quite simply, a stunning vintage diamond trilogy. 

Likely from the mid 20th century, the sparkle is coming from 3 illusion set diamonds which are nestled securely into an intricate platinum setting. The textured metal which surrounds the stones gives the illusion of bigger diamonds, which is no bad thing in my books. 

The ring also features dramatic high shoulders, which gives those stones an extra bit of height. Halfway around the finger, the band switches from platinum to 18ct gold which has turned buttery soft with wear over the years. 

This would, of course, make a sensational vintage engagement ring. However, I’m also a big advocate in treating yourself to a bit of sparkle.

Condition

Very good condition. There is a tiny nibble out of the left hand diamond which is only noticeable under close inspection, and usual marks here and there to the band. Overall she still looks gorgeous!
