Fit for a princess, it’s hard to resist the twinkle of this impressive diamond necklace. With hallmarks for the early 1990s, this vintage piece is still in sparkling condition, literally. 

The design centres around a tantalising row of brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 1.0ct total), which are held in an elegant wishbone-shaped setting. They are super bright and lively, providing an impressive amount of sparkle from every angle. Sunglasses are advised, you have been warned. 

The metal is crafted entirely from a luxurious 18ct gold which gleams like sunshine against the skin. The chain is snake-like in design, formed of tightly packed links which move beautifully together much like a serpent, hence the name. The necklace fastens with a fully functioning lobster clasp. 

To me, this feels like a necklace that is reserved only for extra special occasions. When such event arrives, drape her around your neck and relish in her sparkle. Equally, if this is the sort of thing you wear to nip to the supermarket in, then I applaud you.

Condition

Excellent condition. The diamonds are well matched and free from nibbles, some tiny inclusions are only visible under magnification. The gold is still gleaming with minimal wear.
