From the late 1970s, this very sweet example of a vintage garnet cluster ring. 

The band is crafted from 9ct gold, which has turned ever so slightly darker in tone over the years. I really love the way the shoulders split, leaving two pretty cut outs against the finger. 

The pretty scarlet flower at the centre of the ring is comprised of 7 mixed cut garnets, all well matched and deliciously rich in tone. I’m also impressed at the condition of the stones, with minimal nibbles and lovely glossy polish. 

I don’t know about you, but this classic gold and red colour palette has got me feeling all festive. Someone better snap this up quickly before I treat myself to an early Christmas prezzie.

Condition

Very good condition. The garnets and secure and really glossy with no visible wear to the naked eye. There are a few scuffs here and there to band, which has turned a nice dark golden colour.
