The piece is centred around a square cut sapphire, which is a rich royal blue colour and of a beautiful clarity. Surrounding this are a neat frame of tantalising single cut diamonds, which cast out furious dazzling light with every movement.

The stones are held up in a pretty platinum setting, the design and cut means that they sit fairly flat against the finger, meaning you won’t catch it easily on clothes.

The platinum band is simple in its design, with the shoulders splitting into three strands as it approaches the gems.

Condition

Good condition. The gemstones on this piece are still in fabulous condition considering the age, there is virtually no wear to the surface of the sapphire and just a few tiny nibbles to a couple of the diamonds. The clarity of the sapphire is stunning, and it has some beautiful colour zoning inclusions which are visible to the naked eye. The platinum band has a few more signs of wear, one section of the gallery has a bit of damage and there is evidence of a resize to the band.
