Am I dreaming?! This ring has completely taken my breath away. A truly beautiful antique treasure, packed full of unique charm and history. 

The cluster of jewels is just heavenly, with a total of 9 sparkling diamonds. The largest central stone is old cut, and the smaller stones which surround it are all rose cut. You can tell they have been cut by hand, each with imperfect symmetry and unique character. I also love the dark smoky appearance of these diamonds, the smaller stones in particular have fabulous salt and pepper like inclusions. But when they catch the light… that sparkle is ferocious! 

Likely from the Victorian era, the diamonds are held in a pretty platinum setting, whereas the band is crafted from 18ct yellow gold. In the absence of a hallmark, the metals have been tested to confirm purity.

Condition

Fair condition. This is an antique piece and of course has some scars to prove it, the most notable being a chip out of one of the rose cut diamonds, which is visible in the images. The stones all remain secure, and as stated in the description have an interesting array of light and dark inclusions, giving that wonderful smoky appearance. The central stone is the most clean in terms of clarity. There is a small patch of patina to the inside of the band, along with the usual marks you would expect to see on a ring this age.
