This is a striking retro sapphire and diamond dress ring, likely from the 1980s, and still in absolutely gorgeous condition.
The design of the gemstones centres around a solitary oval cut sapphire which draws the eye in with its rich navy blue tone. On either side of this, there are four strips of white gold illusion set diamonds, and two strips of tiny brilliant cut sapphires, sandwiched neatly together with raised lines of solid 9 carat gold. The final result is a very decadent horizontal stripe motif carved from precious metal and sparkling gemstones - a real treat!
The metal is solid 9 carat gold, still wonderfully bright and shiny, with a smooth a comfortable back.
