The dreamy oval cut stone is super light blue with just a touch of green, giving it that mermaid-like glow which is utterly mesmerising. It is held up securely with 9 carat gold prongs for all to see. On either side there are two dinky diamonds held in an illusion setting, which give a subtle twinkle every now and then.
I love the band - crafted from solid 9 carat gold, it’s rounded and robust with grooved borders, and has turned a gorgeous colour over the years.
