Twinkly, feminine with touch of 1970s glam, this vintage ruby and diamond cluster ring is quite possibly perfection. Hallmarked for 1979, she’s over 40 years old but is still in stunning condition.
The large central ruby (approx. 0.72ct) has a wonderful depth of colour, shimmering a deep rose-coloured hue when held up to the light. Surrounding this, there are a total of twelve brilliant cut diamonds which frame the pink gem beautifully. I really love how the stones are set, over an elaborate gold gallery which makes the whole piece look just like a delicious cupcake.
The metal is 18 carat gold, which is still really bright, she’s obviously been well looked after in a previous life.
