Wow - this antique sapphire ring is a real head-turner! From the early 20th century, the whole piece centres around that stunning square cut sapphire stone, which is the deepest of ocean blue. On either side of this we have two brilliant cut illusion set diamonds which twinkle furiously in the light.
The gems are held securely in a platinum setting and sit at a slight diagonal across the finger. Beneath this, the band twists to form a gentle curved frame for the stones, this is adorned with tiny circular indentations which genuinely look like extra diamonds.
The back of the band is a smooth and solid 18 carat gold, and is still in a lovely condition throughout.

Very good condition. The gems are flawless! A few very minor scratches to the band on the back which are to be expected of an antique piece, but not at all noticeable when worn.
