I absolutely love this ring! Hallmarked for the year 1979, this vintage piece remains utterly timeless. 

A sizeable shiny slab of bloodstone is the main feature here, which has a distinctive dark green base and red blood-like splatters. It is an opaque type of quartz, which is gorgeously gothic and one of my favourites. 

The stone is set into a chunky 9ct gold band, which has turned a lovely darker shade over the years.

Condition

Good condition. There are some minor scratches to the surface of the bloodstone. The gold has aged beautifully, with the usual marks you would expect to see on a ring this age.
