This vintage bloodstone ring is irresistible! Crafted from 9ct gold, which has that lovely ‘old gold’ vintage hue.

The oval cabochon bloodstone is encased in a half bezel setting, with a pretty gold leafy design on either side. The colour of the stone is gothic and alluring, it is a type of opaque quartz with a dark green base and splattered with red inclusions - resembling blood spots, hence the name. Not one for the faint hearted, but perfect for anyone who runs at the sight of sparkle.

This makes a fantastic stand alone piece, or layer her up with your other gothic jewels and gold bands.

Condition

Good condition. The bloodstone still looks fab, with a high shine polish and hardly any wear to the surface. There is a little bit of wear to the setting, which gives the piece that lovely vintage look, and the gold has turned a darker shade over the years.
