Cleverly, this swirl is adorned with tiny square indentations, which at first glance gives the illusion of extra diamonds nestled into the band.

Condition
Very good condition. This ring still looks beautiful considering her age, the diamonds are secure and sparkling. There are a few minor scratches to the band but these are not at all noticeable when worn.
