The moment I spotted that vivid cornflower blue sapphire, I knew I had to have her.

A stunning Edwardian antique piece, hallmarked for the year 1902. This would make such an incredible engagement ring if you are after something with both history and colour.

The central round mixed cut sapphire is of a beautiful clarity and surrounded by a decadent frame of sparkling old cut diamonds. Each bright white stone is imperfectly cut with its own unique charm and character.

The ring is finished with a chunky 18ct gold band, embellished with pretty swirl engraving. I’m impressed with the condition of this piece considering the age. Just gorgeous!

Very good condition. I’m impressed with the condition of this piece considering the age. The sapphire is free from external wear and of a stunning clarity. There are usual marks to the gold band you would expect to see on a ring this age, and a slightly worn hallmark.
